The demands of our profession are high, including considerable travel requirements (50% or more of our time may be spent on the road). We seek individuals with college degrees (Masters Degrees strongly preferred) and some experience in the field of development (location consulting, economic development, capital investment, etc.). Communications skills of all kinds are of paramount importance, as is a good knowledge of and interest in geography. MSC employees have great responsibility to our clients, and all of us must maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
MSC operates from a single location: Our offices are in Greenville, SC.
The firm is structured with three grades of consulting professional:
• Principal
• Senior Consultant
• Consultant
Historically, hiring has been into the consultant grade, but opportunities may arise for openings at other grades or in support classifications. As positions become available, we request that those interested and qualified submit an introduction letter and detailed resume.
